salty gammonstained teacup
the gammon i ordered was terribly salty i mean seriously salty the waitress even spat it out it was that bad i stuck to sausage egg and chips to avoid further culinary disasters breakfast followed a similar theme my teacup had seen better days stained as it was and there was no toast. the stairs needed a hoover i thought and the room door nearly took my hand off with its overzealous spring

the toilet was not cleaned thoroughly. i noticed stains on the upper part of the bowl. the sink taps had toothpaste splashes. i found only two milk sachets despite six tea and coffee packets.

Excellent Stay Outside the City

The bar staff greeted me warmly and also handled reception duties. They showed me directly to my room. Parking was available on the street near the hotel. The pub was lively and patrons were amicable.
The stairs to the bedrooms needed vacuuming. This was a minor detail though

A REALLY enjoyable stay!

The room was a great size and the bed was comfy with a lovely feather duvet. ALL the staff were lovely and very helpful. I chose eggs benedict for breakfast, and the bacon was AMAZING!!! I would DEFINITELY stay again.
The stairs leading to the bedroom needed a good hoover. I think the hotel should address this soon.

The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the city center. I found this location to be a perfect base without the high price tag. It is close to the city's park and ride and ideal if you want to go to the University.
